I was born and raised here, a Bergen County native who attended Saint Joseph Regional High School and later graduated from Rutgers University. Today I live in North Jersey raising my own family.

How This Work Began

More than twenty years ago, a close family member experienced serious school discipline consequences. At the time, we didn’t fully understand how administrative findings and record classifications could follow someone long after high school ended.

What seemed like a temporary issue required explanation again and again — in academic settings, employment contexts, and background reviews.

The lesson became clear:

When It Became Personal

Years later, when similar issues came up within my own household, the approach was very different.
